PEPPERl+FUCHS Varikont Inductive Proximity Sensor is equipped with a primary and secondary coil. Much like other sensors, the primary coil is used to detect the target. The secondary coil, on the other hand, measures the sensor environment—the installation and the material surrounding it. This information is used to immediately compensate for ambient conditions.
