Honeywell HM PSE/B501 Smoke Detector

Honeywell HM PSE/B501 Smoke Detector uses the central photoelectric smoke detector thermal assistance to provide enhanced false alarm immunity and faster response to a large variety of incipient fires. The plug-in unit combines two different sensing components to act as a single device, which is operated by embedded software. The optical-thermal detector complies with EN54-7, a fixed temperature of 58 ° C, and the rate of thermal assistance increases consistent with EN54-5. The thermal detection method incorporates the thermistor technology with a linear temperature response corrected by the program. In locations where normal daytime actions can potentially trigger undesirable alarms, the detector can be configured to work in a “heat-only” mode, automatically returning to full photothermal activity during unoccupied hours.
