Durridge RAD7 Radon Detector is a truly flexible radon and thoron detector used by research scientists and experts worldwide. Its mature and yet still state-of-the-art design surpass those of the most expensive radon measurement tools in the world. The device comes with a built-in air pump, rechargeable batteries, and a separable wireless printer. The RAD7 can store large quantities of radon data for later printing and/or for graphing and analysis.
The RAD7 is a Sniffer that identifies the 3-minute alpha decay of a radon particle, without intervention from other radiations. It also recognizes the instantaneous alpha decay of a thoron daughter for a fast thoron measurement. The instrument can sniff for access points and radon gushers, and it regains from high radon exposures in minutes. The RAD7 also works as a Continuous Radon Monitor and can measure the EPA action level of 4 pCi/L, with a 10% average deviation, in under two hours. The detector prints out a complete report at the end of each run.
